Dozhd TV editor-in-chief and journalists flee Russia

Tikhon Dzyadko, the chief editor of Dozhd TV, and several of the station’s journalists left Russia over concerns for their safety after the online channel’s website was blocked by government authorities. Dzyadko said that he and his colleagues had left indefinitely amid the crackdown by authorities on independent media outlets. It came after he and his spouse received threatening calls and messages.
