Verbal, online or physical attack: Verbal attack or intimidation by public (non online)
In the wake of the invasion, the editor-in-chief of Dozhd (TV Rain), Tikhon Dzyadko, and his spouse Ekaterina Kotrikadze received threats and intimidation over the outlet’s independent reporting about the war in Ukraine. Their phone numbers and social media accounts were shared publicly, and they both received anonymous phone calls and threatening text messages.
