Verbal, online or physical attack: Attack on media infrastructure/offices
On 10 July 2025, the office of Channel 5 (5 Kanal) in Kyiv suffered substantial damage as a result of a new Russian attack on Kyiv, as reported by Channel 5. A video published on the outlet’s Facebook page showed damage to walls, doors and windows at the TV channel’s office, as well as to computers and other equipment. Channel 5 reported that no one was hurt in the attack. Its TV broadcasts were however suspended for several hours following the strike and temporarily only available on Youtube, as a result of damage to operational equipment.
