Belarusian Belsat TV’s Russian service Vot Tak blocked

Access to Belsat TV’s Russian service “Vot Tak” was blocked within in Russia. The blocking was imposed by Russia’s state internet and communications regulator Roskomnadzor and came on the order of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation. The media outlet said that it would continue to operate and that it’s service was available using a VPN. The media outlet reported that the decision was taken on February 24 but was not implemented until a later date.
