Hromadske journalist Viktoria Roshchyna missing

Ukrainian media outlet Hromadske reported that one of its journalists, Viktoria Roshchyna, had been missing since 15 March 2022. According to Hromadske, Roshchyna had planned to travel to Mariupol, a city that has been shelled by Russian troops for more than two weeks. On 12 March, her colleagues were unable to make contact. The media outlet reported that it had information tat she was detained by the FSB on 16 March and that her whereabouts were unknown. Previously, she had reported on the invasion and written critically about the Russian military. A few days before, on 11 March 2022, Roshchyna was shot at when her vehicle passed a column of Russian tanks near the city of Zaporizhia. The car and her driver were not hit by the bullets. UPDATE: On 21 March, Viktoria Roshchyna was released by Russian forces and was able to return to territories controlled by Ukraine. Ukrainian media wrote that she had most likely been arrested by Russian security services in Berdyansk on March 16.
