The new documentary film “A Dark Place”, which highlights the effects of online harassment and abuse on female journalists, will premiere at the This Human World film festival in Vienna on December 10, 2018.
The documentary is a production of the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media as part of the #SOFJO (Safety of Female Journalists Online) initiative, in cooperation with the International Press Institute (IPI).
Filmed in ten countries across Europe, the documentary will provide a framework for global audiences to discuss and better understand the impact of online harassment on media pluralism and media freedom.
The premiere of “A Dark Place” will be followed by a panel discussion with the film director and several journalists and project partners.
