José Arita, a television journalist, was killed on Monday, November 25, in the north coast city of Puerto Cortes. The journalist was shot dead as he left his office at Channel 12 Television station. According to preliminary investigations by the police, four people were waiting for Arita to leave the office and shot him at a close range as he came out. Police suspect that the killing was related to his work.
