Zubair Hatami died in hospital on December 20, 2014, from injuries he sustained in a suicide bombing attack on a French cultural center in Kabul on December 11. Hatami was filming a dance and music performance titled “Heartbeat, The Silence After The Explosion” that criticised suicide attacks in Afghanistan. Hatami was a cameraman for private television station Mitra TV.
