Photojournalist Teodora Maftei, who worked at Pro TV Romania, died on Nov. 9, 2015 from burn injuries that she suffered while covering a concert at the Colectiv basement club in Bucharest. The club caught fire on Oct. 30, 2015 when a spark from a pyrotechnics show ignited foam on the club’s walls. Maftei sustained fatal injuries in the disastrous fire, which as of her death had resulted in the deaths of 45 other people.
